Big news: I'm going to art school!!!!! I'm gonna be at the Maryland Institute College of Art and majoring in Illustration and concentrating in Animation! It's incredibly exciting and incredibly scary! After YEARS of research, I finally settled on MICA as my top school of choice. So many of my favorite illustrators graduated from MICA, and now I get to go there....!!!!! It's also quite scary because I've lived in one place essentially my entire life and I'm not a city kid by any means (not to mention Baltimore's not-so-wholesome reputation), but I intend to make the most of it!

I'm back! Call me Lin. I'm a high school senior working on my portfolio for art school, and I hope to study to become an illustrator and/or a visual development artist. Since I had the revelation that I want to pursue art on a professional level I decided to return and remake my Deviantart account. I'll be more active on my Tumblr (sketch blog) and Blogspot (portfolio blog), but expect to see me here now and then!
